Hauora Homes offers hands-on, interactive training to help Whanau become confident and educated Kaitohutohu.

Our Kaitohutohu training programme has been crafted with Maori in mind, and specifically designed to be in a workshop style environment. 

Learn how a Whare functions best. To ensure a dry, warm, healthy and energy efficient Home. You will also learn a strong skillset to take the knowledge you learn within our training programme, to implement and manage healthy homes for Whanau.

With an emphasis on collaboration, Hauora Homes includes a range of learning techniques to keep you interested and engaged. You'll find a mixture of illustration, real-life discussions, history, and some light-hearted fun quizzes throughout our course.
